My husband was discipled by Derek Prince and other "relational" men. I realized the break down of why my own father, and Episcopal priest, highly educated could never overcome sin. He ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, never did just learn how to hear from God and obey... (eat from the right tree)... hearing and doing.
Gene speaks from the heart, has a relationship with God as Paul puts it.... "he serves the Lord with his spirit". That has messed with many a drive through the Christian carwash person. (I'm sure you get what I mean). After he has given messages on walking in real faith and love, speaking the truth to one another in love, believing we are members one of another, churches have shut their doors they were so filled with darkness. The phony pastors (one was a child molester....) were brought into the light so they could repent. Gene, my husband, even confronted Jim and Tammy Bakker years ago. The offered him money then kicked him off the grounds. They didn't have ears to hear, but they were warned.
I love to write about relationships with women, "as stone rubs against a stone, so a friend sharpens the countenance of a friend." I think laying down my life for the
women who have come into it, coming face to face with my own insecurities and lack of confidence in God, and turning in faith WAS MY BLESSING, not my curse. So many people don't care enough about doing God's will in each others lives. They don't see God's purpose in His people to shake and expose their darkness, so they can be saved....
getting involved with women personally, LOOKING TO JESUS TO HELP ME with their demons, has been all a huge conversion experience for me is REALLY SEEING WHAT I WAS SAVED FROM myself. And getting understanding to the whiles of the devil. My carnal friends were God's operation to help me become spiritual. So many people never get close enough to each other to get the twig ministry The Lord wants them to have. I could really write books about "if they receive you, they receive me and receive Him who sent me."
Receiving the friends The Lord has brought into my life, all the good the bad the ugly in them, HAS BEEN EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO GET CLOSE TO JESUS myself, to remember the log in my eye, and help them with the twig in theirs. All the scholarly wisdom in the world people can seek after doesn't hold a candle to having REAL FAITH AND LOVE in the only begotton son of God to help us love, serve, not be offended and hear from Jesus for each other.
That's also why the murderer and rapist in my past could sit in pews for so many years and feel safe. So many people are indifferent and don't REALLY receive each other, they just make an outward show of affection, but inwardly they are far from the Lord and each other!
Job 38:36 Who hath put in the inward parts wisdom? Or who hath given To the covered part understanding?
Psa 51:6 Lo, truth Thou hast desired in the inward parts, And in the hidden part Wisdom Thou causest me to know.
Psa 64:6 They search out perverse things, `We perfected a searching search,' And the inward part of man, and the heart [are] deep.
Psa 103:1 By David. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And all my inward parts -- His Holy Name.
Jer 31:33 For this [is] the covenant that I make, With the house of Israel, after those days, An affirmation of Jehovah, I have given My law in their inward part, And on their heart I do write it, And I have been to them for God, And they are to me for a people.
Luk 11:39 And the Lord said unto him, `Now do ye, the Pharisees, the outside of the cup and of the plate make clean, but your inwardpart is full of rapine and wickedness;
Rom 7:22 for I delight in the law of God according to the inward man,
2Cr 4:16 wherefore, we faint not, but if also our outward man doth decay, yet the inward is renewed day by day;
It's who we are inwardly that matters to the Lord! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YU0aNAHXP0

WE PASS FROM DEATH TO LIFE WHEN WE LOVE
Debbie, I hope and pray you have an anointing come on you to write about this some time! You raised your kids in this body along with others, who rejected the ones sent to them. They would not receive the kingdom of God, His operation in the ones He sent. I could have taught my children to reject people, and lived unto myself, and not entered into relationships with God or man, and KEPT MY CHILDREN from entering in too!
Matthew 23:13 (The Message)
Frauds!
13"I've had it with you! You're hopeless, you religion scholars, you Pharisees! Frauds! Your lives are roadblocks to God's kingdom. You refuse to enter, and won't let anyone else in either.
Matthew 23:13 (Amplified Bible)
13But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces; for you neither enter yourselves, nor do you allow those who are about to go in to do so.
It really is a heart position. And look how many have come and gone and lost their children to the world because of "looking back" to Egypt, and living like a pillar of salt (in the body), salt in a bad way. Not the salt that preserves. When we receive each other, we receive Jesus and receive God OUR FATHER who sent Jesus. It's a mystery. People that shut each other out, are shutting out the kingdom of God and shutting the door to all those they love to be able to go to heaven with Jesus and His bride. Living in pretense while they walk with people who are trying to enter in. Shutting people out is dangerous..... not only for you, but your children, and generations to come. We have seen the demise of those who refuse to receive the ones sent to them, and we can only cry out to God on their behalf that they REPENT..... for the kingdom of God has come close to them and they rejected it. I WOULD BE LOST, HAD I NOT RECEIVED THE CONGREGATION, SO WOULD MY CHILDREN!!!
I do again hope an anointing comes on you to write about it so you can warn those who are playing around with the lives of others, not even realizing what they are doing.

I feel that the Lord sent me this email. Last nights meeting exposed where I am at. What I heard the Lord say to me through the Body is this, that I torment my husband and the family in my house with the demons that I don't judge. The demons of control , Anger and pride, That is what happened this week after the womens meeting. just because my husband wanted to add something to what I had shared with him. What was reflected is that I don't come to the meetings with an openness of being humble , I come and take what is being said and store it as knowledge and walk in pretense. I don't receive the Spirit of what is being said into my heart. I mentally store as knowledge and pull it out and use it when I need it. Joe was saying it is religion. I clean myself up just because there is a meeting , so I feel good about myself and everyone else feels good about me too. Joe said what is happening is I get the seed every saturday night and because I don't apply the word in my life and don't get understanding during the week it gets stolen. So when you wrote you refuse to enter and you won't let anyone else enter either I think of how much I have kept Tom from entering because I won;t Or even the people at work. I saw Debbie do that , and I realize I am doing that to I have never taken the log out of my eye I have judged everybody else. This is where some were at before they left. There is not a fear of God in how or what I think or speak. I see that I am without His Holy Spirit and haven't cared . After last night I see that I am so deceived and have thought that I know , but I don't see at all I am so blind and I need Jesus to lift the veil. I have not been sincere. It has all been a learned position . The Lord has come in these meetings and I have been found to be a fraud. Gal 4:9 . I have gone back to the weak and beggarly elements. I am writing this because of what you said about shutting people out I have done this the whole time I have been in this body . It has been because of pride It is time I stop running from who I am and let the Lord heal me. I don't want to end up like my parents, Lord , please Help me.

And acknowledging your problem is half of the battle, just think you are half done. Do you know how many can't even do that?
I didn't want to end up like my parents. And we must be determined to break the curse, and Jesus will help us.
I can't stop thinking about "we pass from DEATH unto LIFE, when we love the brethren. And His yoke is easy, His burden is light.
The bondage of control, fear, unbelief (believing in ourselves) is very heavy!
And HOW CAN WE SAY, we love God in heaven who we DON'T SEE, when we don't love those on earth who we DO SEE?
Kay my conversion came through looking to Jesus to help me love His messed up daughters. I saw SOOOO much more clearly, my own sin. I fellowshipped Jesus in a whole new way. When I saw how bad off the women were in my life, I realized how bad off I was due to the log in my own eye, and "twig removal" became easy and joyous to me. The more I looked to love, the more joy I had. LOVE IS EASY, being hard hearted is hell on earth! The more I looked to connect with the body, be open, sincere, humble, and "IF YOU LOVE ME FEED MY SHEEP", the more converted I became, and am becoming. THERE IS A REALLY DEEP MYSTERY THERE. Those who are hidden, prideful, and insincere in their love don't "graft in".
I know the Lord will help you GRAFT IN. There is a scripture that says in Rm.7, that we are saved by the body of Christ. And when we REALLY look to receive the children God loves, and walk in love, truth and true care and ENTER INTO THAT........ WE OPEN THE DOOR FOR OTHERS TO GRAFT IN, into HIM AND HIS BODY!!!!
The Lord will be faithful to the humble and sincere. He will always resist the prideful and pretentious. This is the day the Lord has made, LET US REJOICE Kay and be GLAD IN IT! There is a secret mystery that the Lord gives to those who really want to abide in the shadow of the Almighty!

the death dance of pity, vengence etc
Shan and I were talking about the "death dance" in marriages, of hard -heartedness. It's the dance couples do when THEY ARE CARNAL and not helping each other. There is a huge difference in how a virtuous woman responds to life and how a defiled conscience woman responds. The woman with the guilty conscience responds as a victim and comes under the spirit of self-pity. She's already living like her own idol, living for her own will, her own pleasure, her own benefit anyway. So when people are carnal with her, her self anointing just changes self crowns. She just takes off the self pleasure crown and puts on the self pity crown. BUT IT'S ALL SELF.
So when her husband (or anyone) is mean, angry, hard-hearted or vengeful with her~~~ she has no VIRTUE to help him, no bread from afar, no law of kindness, no understanding. So rather than help cover him (or anyone) in their position of self against her, SHE KEEPS EATING THE BREAD OF IDLENESS, self life, AND GLORY'S IN BEING A VICTIM...... (her conscience knows she deserves to be beaten anyway, so she gets sick pleasure out of others being carnal with her)
It's the "death dance" of the foolish woman. It's how I lived with Michael when I had a defiled conscience. I was full of SELF LIFE, so when he wronged me THE SELF LIFE TURNED TO THE SELF PITY PART OF SELF LIFE. And so it was with anyone who victimized me. But deep down I knew I deserved it........ so I was an active participant in the "death dance".
It wasn't until I cared AS MUCH FOR HIS SOUL AS MY OWN....... AND I WAS WILLING TO LOVE HIM AS MY OWN SOUL, my neighbor as myself......took the log out of MY EYE, and wanted to be a VIRTUOUS WOMAN, a Proverbs 31 woman, then I got my bread from afar. THE PITY ANOINTING LEFT, the guilty conscience left. I had answers to cover him and help him, and I spoke to him for loves sake, for redemption sake, to cover his soul. MY FOOD BECAME TO DO GOD'S WILL, so I got out of THE DEATH DANCE. I was no longer a victim. I lived to do God's will SO I WASN'T GUILTY ANYMORE. I didn't egg him on to beat me with his words anymore. I didn't condemn him for lust for women, while I lusted after food. I decided to try and be virtuous. Why would his heart safely trust in me? I lived for my own pleasure. It's a woman who SEEKS TO DO GOOD TO HER HUSBAND, and gives herself and her wisdom, gets answers and food from afar........ THAT'S WHEN HE BEGAN HONORING ME. And so it was, I was no longer even susuptibale to pity.............I had no room in me anymore for that demon and kept my house clean so it couldn't take up residence. KEPT MY HOUSE CLEAN BY LOOKING TO DO GOD'S WILL IN THE LIVES OF THOSE AROUND ME!!!!!!
31. Mercilessness: Hard-Heartedness
When we think of the sin of mercilessness, we usually think of a hard-hearted person, that coldly refuses to listen to pleas for help from the needy. That is wrong, because it is one-sided. Mercilessness includes something else that pertains to us all: "passing by". We do not need to do anything more than pass by the needs of our neighbours. Then we are unmerciful.
Jesus shows us this clearly in His parable about the "Good Samaritan". He calls the Samaritan compassionate, because he stopped when he saw someone in need and helped him. The others, who also saw his need, simply passed by and in that moment they became unmerciful. And yet their behaviour was almost understandable. Perhaps they were expected elsewhere; perhaps they had a ministry to perform. So they hastened to reach Jericho by evening which was a day's journey away from Jerusalem. Perhaps it was shortly before nightfall. For the family's sake they could not endanger themselves. Worse things could have happened to them than to the one who lay there robbed and beaten. That is why they passed by him. They were probably not aware of the fact that this was a sin; after all, they did not cold-heartedly refuse to answer a call for help. They probably thought their obligation to get to Jericho quickly was more important than helping the robbed victim. If their conscience pricked them, they probably deceived themselves by saying that they did not have any opportunity to help in this case, because they did not have a donkey or a horse to carry the victim. So they passed him by, perhaps even a bit sad about his situation. But God had stamped them as "unmerciful".
Passing by someone who is in need! How often have we done this without realizing that God's words of judgment applied to us; "For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy" (Jas. 2: 13).
Perhaps we have never applied this terrible verdict to ourselves, because we have not realized that God was waiting for us to stop and be merciful to someone who was in need. But we passed by without taking advantage of the opportunity to help. We were unmerciful. What a shock it will be for us when we find ourselves at the judgment seat of God and hear Him pronounce the sentence of the unmerciful over us, "Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matt. 25: 41).
Who will be sentenced to eternal fire? Those who did not take in the strangers, care for the sick, visit the prisoners, feed the hungry-those who do not lovingly help their neighbours.
But Jesus has come so that we do not have to remain in sin and be damned with the world. He wants to remould us into His merciful image and let us come into His kingdom. Because Jesus loves us, He does not want us to be sent to hell because we were unmerciful. We must listen to His warning "Be alert!" Just because we have not rejected any requests, we cannot be sure that this judgment will not strike us! Every day we must entreat God to convict us of our sin of mercilessness in our daily life: "Show me, Lord, when I am about to pass by a person in need, either physically or otherwise. Let me see when my self-will is the reason, because I do not want others to frustrate my plans and intentions. Or show me where I do not have loving eyes for the needs of others, because I am so involved in my ego." Only those who ask will receive. Let us fight an intensive battle of prayer for mercifulness. Our fate in eternity depends upon this.
But this daily prayer is not enough. The good Samaritan not only had a merciful heart which could feel the needs of the other, but he was also willing to make a sacrifice for the needy. We have to commit ourselves to making sacrifices for our neighbour, for genuine mercy can only be practised when a sacrifice is included. The Samaritan sacrificed his safety; it could have cost him his life, to stay by the wounded man if the robbers had come back again. But we do not always have to risk our lives to be merciful. Sometimes it is just a very small thing that is expected from us, like giving money. Or perhaps, during times of scarcity, we ought to give others something to eat, something to wear or a place to sleep even though we ourselves may have next to nothing. And how often does a small sacrifice of mercy simply mean giving others of our time? How often have we already become guilty in these matters?
Everything depends upon taking Jesus' exhortation seriously, "Be merciful!" I wonder, do we live according to the standards by which we will be judged by one day? "Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful (Luke 6: 36). That means, for example, that we have to take the parable of the unmerciful servant seriously and apply it to our lives. The unmerciful servant was not merciful towards his fellow servant who was indebted to him. He did not see that since God was merciful to him and forgave him he was now bound to do the same. God is expecting us to be filled with mercy when others sin against us. He does not want us to keep account of their sin, but to forgive them mercifully.
Being unmerciful and not being able to forgive can one day cost us our lives and our inheritance in the kingdom of heaven. For Jesus says that the unmerciful servant, and all who follow his example, will be "delivered to the jailers", that means, they will be in Satan's kingdom. The Apostle Paul adds: "Those who do such things deserve to die" (Rom. 1: 31f). We deceive ourselves when we pretend that passing by others, or not being able to forgive, is something harmless. Jesus' words are true and we will be judged according to what He said. But by mercifulness we do not mean tolerating sin and no longer being willing in humble love to help others see their sin. If we neglect to do this, we will also become unmerciful, but in another sense, and this will also bring judgment down upon us.
If we repent of our lack of mercy and bring it under the blood of Jesus, we will also be compelled to go to those to whom we were unmerciful and seek to make amends by being especially loving and helpful towards them. Or if we can no longer reach them, we will bestow this kindness on others. Then the guilt of mercilessness will be blotted out in the blood of the Lamb for time and eternity.
So Jesus' words, "Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful", should not make us discouraged and despondent, when it seems as though our hard hearts, which continually pass by the needs of others, will never be made merciful. We must believe Jesus when He says, "What is impossible with men is possible with God" (Luke 18: 27). With God everything is possible, for He is almighty. In Jesus there is redemption from all sins, even from mercilessness, for He has paid the full ransom price for our sins. We have been redeemed to be merciful. Whoever claims this in faith, ever anew, will find that he is changed into God's image of mercy, from one degree of glory to another and one day he will enter the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of love and mercy.
Whoever claims this in faith, ever anew, will find that he is changed into God's image of mercy, from one degree of glory to another and one day he will enter the Kingdom of God, the kingdom of love and mercy.

but let everyone be mindful of the things of his neighbor also
I wrote something else about how "our mouth gives birth"........ This is the ONE THING Bonnie, I have seen you really yet to be humbly sorry for. How your mouth operates on others. You have refused to change, and I hope to God you do before you die. Rather than being a mother in Zion, helping others with the spirit of their mouth because you have taken the log out of your eye, you stay a child, looking for everyone to save you. SAVE YOURSELF BY CARING ABOUT WHO YOU ARE TO OTHERS. SAVE YOURSELF FROM DEATH, BY LOVING OTHERS ENOUGH TO CARE WHAT YOU SAY TO THEM..........
Subject: God created with THE SPIRIT OF HIS MOUTH.......... SO DO WE!!!
AS WE THINK......So WE ARE! God created with the spirit of His mouth! So do we! We defile ourselves by what comes out of our mouth!
Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee. We are all being influenced by God or the devil in “the spirit of our mind.” The more one speaks defiling things, the more one attracts demonic activity into his life. That’s why we have to cast down principalities, powers, rulers of darkness in high places, imaginations that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. This is OUR RESPONSIBILITY not God’s. We choose who we submit to in our thoughts.
And the reason things come out of our mouth that shouldn't is because we are not obeying Jesus' command to "take our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ."
On that day when God, by Jesus Christ will judge men in regard to the things which they conceal (their hidden thoughts). Romans 2:16 amp. Vs.22 (Are you unchaste in your thoughts)? Looking at the word chaste, we should ask ourselves, “am I celibate, clean, immaculate, innocent, proper, pure, unblemished, unsullied, virtuous, virginal, in my thoughts?” Am I ordering my thoughts aright?? Do we really believe the Lord knows our works and our thoughts? (Ps.94:11 139:2'Isa.66:18 I Cor.3:20 Ps.139:3
“You understand my thought afar off. But Jesus knowing (seeing) their thoughts, said, "Why do you think evil and harbor malice in your hearts?" Curse not the King, not even in your thoughts (Ecc.10:20) For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, (secret thoughts) whether it be good or evil. Let the
wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts.-and let him return to the Lord ... My thoughts are not your thoughts ... My thoughts are
higher than your thoughts (Is.55:7-9)
Are we sinning against God, or against our brother in our thoughts? 0 Jerusalem , wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved! How long shall your iniquitous and grossly offensive thoughts lodge within you? Jer-4:141
Deliver those who are led away to death, and spare not to redeem those who are held to be slain. If you say "behold I did not know it, then know it is God who searches the thought of the heart, and He who keeps your soul knows it, and shall render to every man
according to his works? (Prv. 24:11-12) This states clearly God is going to reward us one day for what we do about what we think about others, this should change your life!
For the tree is known and recognized and judged by its fruit, For out of the fullness of the heart, the mouth speaks. The good man from his inner good
treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things, but I tell you on the day of judgment,
men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, non-working) word they speak. For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by
your words you will be condemned and sentenced. (Matt.12:36). Do you even realize how many Christians don’t believe this?? Not really??? What I have
come to learn about myself is: whatever thoughts I allow or disallow, go, into the treasure chest of my heart, and it is from this treasure chest that
I speak! Jesus said it and it’s true! Ps.7:9 (amp.) For you, who try the hearts and emotions, and thinking powers, are a righteous God. Rev.2:23 amp ... I am He who searches minds, (the thoughts, feelings, and purposes, and the inmost hearts, and I will give to each of you the reward for what you have done, as your work
deserves! Jer-17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it
(perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind? I the Lord search the mind, I try the heart, even to give to every man according to his
ways and according to the fruit of his doings”. I have to ask my- self sincerely, Am I really living to lay down my life for my brother? Do I
guard and protect myself through not Loving my brother with all my heart, all my mind, and, all my strength, because of how it might affect me? Am I
really allowing God to speak to me about my private thoughts towards my brother so I and do what is right on his behalf?
Jesus said ... if we love him, we will keep His commandments! “I give you a new commandment that you should love one another! Whoever says he is in the light and yet lightly esteems his brother is in darkness until now. Whoever loves his brother-abides and lives in the light, there is no occasion for stumbling or cause for err or sin”. We know we have passed from death unto life, because- we-love our brother! Philp.2:2-5 complete my joy by being in one accord and one love and one soul and one mind. Do nothing through strife or vainglory, but in humility let every one regard his neighbor better than himself! Let no one be mindful only of his
own things, but let everyone be mindful of the things of his neighbor also! Let this same attitude and purpose and humble mind be in you who are in
Christ Jesus: (let him be your example in humility)! ....
For what man knows the mind (thoughts) of man, except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the mind (thoughts) of God, except the
spirit of God. I Cor. 2- 11 vs-14 ... but the natural, non-spiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts, teachings and
revelations of the spirit of God, for they are meaningless nonsense to him: he is incapable of knowing them, because they are spiritually discerned and
estimated and appreciated! But the spiritual man tries, examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things.
For who has known or understood the mind, the counsels and purposes of the Lord, so as to guide and instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ and do hold the
thoughts, feelings and purposes of his heart! He lived a life of constantly laying down his life for his brother, the greater purpose, and for the
benefit of God and His Kingdom .... as the perfect example ... that we would be in the world as He was in the world! Do not worry over things, but always
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, shall
garrison and mount guard over your hearts and kinds in Christ Jesus! Whatever is true, whatever is honest, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is
lovely, whatever is worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of the things (fix your minds on them)! Philp.4:6-8 amp.
Heb.5:11-14 Since you have become dull in your spiritual hearing and sluggish even slothful in achieving spiritual insight! For even though by this time
you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God's word. You have come to need milk,
not solid food. For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and un- skilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity
to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant (not able to talk-yet)l but solid food. Full grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between good and evil (the law of the Spirit) of God and love ... or the mind of the flesh, which leads to death! God does not want us to be wimps in the spirit of our minds. We need to exercise our senses, develop our mental faculties, practice and train them
to resist the devil. Submit to God .... not the father of lies. We need to be as professionally trained athletes, being renewed in the spirit of our mind!
Eph. . 4:23 be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind (having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude). Put on the new nature, created in God's
image, in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore, rejecting all falsity let everyone express the truth with his neighbor, for we are all parts of one
body-and member’s one of another!
We are the ones who must choose which cup we will drink from, which table we will partake of! Lies and accusations, or truth and love. If we in our mind are accusing others and excusing ourselves, we are headed for trouble. Unless we pray, getting revelation and instruction for how we may love and help one another, in the invisible kingdom, we are getting the one we are accusing stuck between our teeth. “They eat up my children as one eats bread and call not upon the Lord.” The bible talks several times about cannibalism. I have to wonder if it’s exposing a spiritual truth more than an actual truth.
People are accusing, “eating” each other rather than speaking to the dead bones so they can live!
Are our thoughts patterned after defending ourselves, or are we allowing the spirit of God (love) to teach us how to wash one another's feet and serve one another? The mind set on the flesh is death; the mind set on the Spirit (of benevolent love and truth) is life and peace!
Let us be careful not to faint in our minds! Heb-12-3 Think of him who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against
himself, so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting -in your minds; for if we suffer with Him, so shall we reign
with Him! For to us it has been granted the privilege, for Christ's sake not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for his sake. You will guard him
and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he commits himself, leans on, and confidently hopes in You! Is.26-3
For God did not give us (but the devil would like to give us) a spirit of fear (timidity, cowardice, craven, cringing, panic), but He has given us a
spirit of power and of love and of calm and well balanced mind and discipline and self-control. 2tim-1:7.' 2 Cor.10:5 For the weapons of our warfare are
not physical, but are mighty before god for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds. Inasmuch as we refute: contradict, disagree, deny, negate,
rebuff, reject, veto, renounce, disagree, object, opposes protest, refuse, scorn, shunt arguments and theories and reasoning’s and every proud and lofty
thing, that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God; and we lead every thought captive to the obedience of Christ! 2cor-10:4-5. 11:3
But now I am fearful, lest that even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, so your minds may be corrupted and seduced from whole-hearted and sincere and
pure devotion to Christ! So brace up your minds: be sober, circumspect, morally alert set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace that is
coming when Jesus is revealed. Live as children of obedience. Pet.1:13 The battlefield is in the mind! You’re called to be a soldier,
its fight or be overcome! Allow the Holy Spirit to direct and control you, for the mind of the flesh with its carnal thoughts and purposes is hostile to
God. Don't cater to the appetites and impulses of the carnal nature. Live according to the Spirit, controlled by the desires of the Spirit, set your
mind and seek those things which gratify the Holy Spirit! Rm-8:5-9 Forsake all human reasoning and thought. Let God’s thoughts become your thoughts.
Hide His word in your heart that you won't be found sinning against Him! Is. 58:13 If you turn away from doing your own pleasure on My Holy day ,not
going your own way or seeking or finding your own pleasure or speaking your own idle words (which we will if we are thinking our own thoughts)! It is
said of the children of Israel that God was not in all their thoughts! Not everyone who says to Him Lord, Lord, will enter into the Kingdom of
Heaven , but those who do the will of God!
As we obey in thought, word, and deed, we can lead others in obedience to God in thought, word and deed! We can speak life with our mouth, not death! The spirit of our mouth can cause the dead bones in others to live! If we lift Jesus up with the spirit of our mouth, we will draw others unto Him. May we not give into obeying lies & lying spirits. Nor use our mouths to speak death! ~Let us become the children of OBEDIENCE~ that we may bear fruit after our own kind (Gen. 1:11-12) The devil wants us to use our mouths to glorify the devil and ourselves…. If we take our thoughts captive we can loose God’s Kingdom on the earth and Glorify Our Father in Heaven!

is your god your belly
Can we even be honest with ourselves when we are condemning ourselves in what we are allowing? That's what I have needed a Savior FOR! To SAVE ME FROM MYSELF!
"happy is the woman who doesn't condemn herself in what she allows." I think if you really were in touch with the prison you have been content to live in and realized how good you could feel, you would get mad as _________ and not take it anymore! (We need to get mad and not sin, at the deceiver who lies to us and calls good evil and evil good.) I think we have to angry about how the devil has stolen, tried to kill, steal and destroy our health.
I was talking to a morbidly obese young guy last night about this. Talked to him about Ps.88:16..... "if you hold the love of sin in your heart, God won't hear you when you pray." I HAD TO CRY OUT TO GOD TO HELP ME HATE WHAT HE HATES AND LOVE WHAT HE LOVES. "Their god is their belly"..... I had to ask God to deliver me from this "familiar", food has been my "familiar" comforter....... and savior....... BUT WHAT A FOUL SAVIOR. The devil's salvation is a band, trap and snare..... and can you tell "the kingdom of God has suffered violence in me" due to all the times I was drunk on food?!!!!! I'm becoming a violent woman back...... it makes me so sick to see how trapped so many of God's children are........ OBEYING the spirit that's destroying them, trying to snuff out their life! You caught me on the right day girl!! I became passionate for the Lords cause when I was with this young guy about 450??? lbs last night. "Who will stand up for Me, who will plead My cause? The more I plead the
Lord's cause with those who have made their god their belly, the more deliverance I have had myself! This guy is crippled! HE'S BEEN OBEYING THE WRONG VOICE A LONG TIME, and it's like slow motion suicide. He has tried all his life (he might be 22), to have faith without works, only his faith is dead............ I talked to him about Romans 8 too. "Now therefore their is no condemnation to those who walk after the spirit." But their is condemnation when we walk after and yield to the flesh. I have had to be honest and talk to the Lord about what I was allowing that I was condemning myself in, and let Him show me the truth.......... it does make us free. And I understand more clearly all the time what Romans 8 really means. The LAW of the SPIRIT OF LIFE. We have life in us when we yield to the Spirit, we don't have Jesus' life in us when we yield to the flesh. I have had to have REAL FAITH in the invisible hands of Jesus to circumcise my heart, and open my ears to discern between good and evil. Who's voice is talking to me, and who is getting me to eat my way into prison!
I told this kid to REBUKE the devil, just like Jesus did in the desert. To speak to the mountain of gluttony, idolatry with food, and the demon of drunkenness!
In Ecc. 10:17 it says BLESSED...... did you get that......... BLESSED...... is the land when the princes eat for STRENGTH and not drunkenness! Oh God forgive us and help us! That's Satan's plan and map for our life to keep us drunk, sick and asleep! No hope, vision or faith.
When I was a child I thought like a child......... I pigged out on cookies, cake and ice cream, but now it's time to tell that little screaming brat to shut up and sit down. "She who has no rule over her spirit is like a city broken down without walls! And she who rules her spirit is better than she who takes a city! Oh Lord Jesus save us from preaching liberty while we are the slaves of our own flesh. Save us from preaching to others and not winning the race ourselves. "The glutton and drunkard shall be clothed with rags." How many rags have we settled for due to being gluttonous? "He who regards lying vanities forsakes his own mercy." The vanity of thinking food will comfort us and we forsake God's comfort. His life, His blessings, and we really get content living in a degree of "unhappiness"......... not feeling good about who we are and what we are representing about OUR SAVIOR.
There is another scripture that says, "through deceit, they refuse to know me." When we deceive ourselves and turn to food (most always destructive food), HOW MUCH ARE WE REFUSING TO KNOW GOD AND HIS COMFORT?
God's not leading His children to commit suicide with food. And if we eat, drink, whatever we do, we should be doing it TO THE GLORY OF GOD OUR FATHER, not to the glory of the belly god who tries to kill us by yielding to the flesh.............. it's kind of like walking around with a low grade infection. We get familiar with it.
I have really learned something by watching people new to Sunrider. The ones who have the faith to eat a lot of regenerative foods and give up the junk...... HAD NO CLUE HOW GREAT THEY COULD FEEL! They didn't even know the prison they were living in! And people that piddle around and don't make real changes in their lives, and "turn" from their "food crimes"...........(feeding the little rebellious brat..... the flesh that's telling the spirit what to do..........) they never feel much better due to being half hearted. Same holds true for Christians who most of the time are yielding to the flesh rather than the spirit, they are spiritually healthy!
We should be like David who commanded his flesh and told it what to do when he said, "Bless the Lord Oh my soul and let everything in me bless the Lord." Trying to bless ourselves with destructive food, or overeating, always ends up in a curse. If we would only pray when we are lonely, afraid, need vision and faith, or when we have sinned by yielding to the flesh, which is reaping death......... God would help us. Like 1 Cor.13 says....... "to know and be known." Or the proverb....... "give me your heart and let your eyes observe my ways." Maybe all our problems are due to not talking to the Lord, so we yield to the one who comes to kill, steal and destroy our lives. With all of our getting we need to get understanding, for what we do without understanding won't last. God wants to save us from the spirit of destruction so we can cry aloud and spare not, and plea God's cause for those who are being plucked off by the gluttonous Savior who is killing them!

We should be like David who commanded his flesh and told it what to do when he said, "Bless the Lord Oh my soul and let everything in me bless the Lord." CAN YOU TASTE WHAT IS COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH??
Job 6:30Is there iniquity in my tongue? cannot my taste discern perverse things?
Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. These are great illustrations of what someone who is filled and led by the Holy Spirit will do to one who isn’t led or filled by the Spirit. “Those who are led by the Spirit, are the sons of God.” I’m sure this means they will speak words that are Spirit and life, like Jesus did, and will “expose works of darkness.”
The bible says….we are supposed to "speak the truth in love for we are members one of another", how many Christians do you know who have this law of love and faith in their heart?? And when they aren't heard they get others involved for loves sake for "out of the mouth of 2-3 witnesses the word of God is established"? What is the sin of indifference other than being indifferent to "brotherly" love. Not being involved in the "washing" of feet, the removing of grave clothes. When we know someone's words are the words of death, but we fail to say anything. We fail to pray, we fail to be honest, we fail to be sincere. By our indifference.....we end up consenting with the Thief proverbs 29 talks about. We let people's dead lifeless words, steal from us and others, because we close our ears. We choose to be indifferent, bury our talent. We would rather have faith for a million dollars, than have faith to speak the truth in love.
The devil has to use the lips of someone to accuse God, and he's very sneaky in his presentation. The spirit of my words used to be, "my times aren't in God's hands, He doesn't really see, He doesn't really care." This isn't what I actually said, but it was the spirit behind much of what I said. And thank God someone came into my life that wouldn’t “eat” my words, but loved me enough to rebuke me so I would be sound in my faith! If we listen to fearful, unbelieving words.......the words of those who are influenced by Satan, the words he spoke to them to control them, their words are on a mission to control us. Ezekiel 3 says if we fail to show someone in the family of God, who we are in relationship with, their sins, we will experience the same judgment they will for their sin. FEAR AND UNBELIEF is a sin, it's an indictment against God, it's pointing the finger at Him. It's saying His words are untrue and He is not a God of His word. If someone is mouthing these accusations against God and we don't love someone enough to speak the truth to them, so they will grow up........and quit being used by the accuser of the brethren to point the finger at Jesus, won't their blood be on our hands? God's word says it will be.
I had a dream about one of my sisters the other night. I was talking to her about how she Presents herself. I was telling her what the scripture means......."present yourself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service." Rm.12:1 I was telling her to be holy means to be separated, and she always separates herself unto that whiny, unbelieving, fearful, despairing, fretting spirit of the devil, that accuses God. The spirit of many of the words she speaks are "Oh poor me." So even when she talks about Jesus, her words have the anointing of death on them. Our words lite fires when they are not God's words. We must care what we are "feeding the sheep" with the spirit of our mouth. Some people have a lot of faith to lite Forrest fires. "Mischief is conceived in our hearts, by listening to the devils voice instead of Gods, and our mouth is used to give birth to lies in the hearts of others." Jesus words, God's words are referred to AS FOOD. So our words are like food, And we can poisons others with words just like I poison my ants. I make a real sugary paste and stick a little bit of boric acid in it, they are too stupid to realize what they are sucking in is killing them. When someone speaks words of faith and love in their hearts towards God and man............ THEY ARE LIFTING JESUS UP. And Jesus said if we lift Him up we will draw men unto Him." We must know what spirit, and what kind of life our words really are. Many people speak words to “get” something from others, the don’t speak truth freely.
If we are satisfied by the words of our mouth, like the proverbs say........then are we so self deceived that we won't tell ourselves the truth when poison comes out of our mouth? DO YOU EVEN REALIZE WHERE DISSATISFACTION in life COMES FROM? Do you LIE TO yourself ABOUT WHAT you LET OUT OF your LITTLE LIPS! The proverbs say about the whore, "she wipes her mouth and says, I didn't do anything wrong." How many people can't even tell when they are destroying themselves and others with the spirit of their mouth? And how do we respond when someone who is Spirit Filled rebukes us, like Jesus did to Peter? Do we love truth, correction and reproof?”
Oh how many people are willing to scrub, scrub, scrub, the outside of cup with strife and religious works, but deep in their soul, they are filled with dead mens bones, and their mouth is an open grave. Their empty chatter is just a reflection of their empty heart. If you talk to them long enough, you can hear the dead bones, those thoughts lodged in their heart that aren't right towards the Lord. Life and death is in the power of our tongue. Jesus said "every idle word a man speaks will be held against him in the day of judgment." What he means is that our words operate, they are either the source of life or death, and it all depends on the motives of the heart of the one speaking the words. He told the wicked and slothful servant......"out of your mouth, you have condemned yourself." The proverbs say that the words of a mans heart are "deep" waters. And some people have a cesspool of demonic thoughts that reside deep in their soul that they don't talk to the Lord about. But these lies lodged in our soul we haven't taken captive to the obedience of Christ will seep out eventually. When the enemy comes in like a flood, THE LORD LIFTS UP A STANDARD. When the devil is speaking to us through someone's mouth we love, we shouldn't be indifferent, but look pray to hear the right voice! And give them "good food," for the bad food they gave us. That’s really what Jesus did for Peter.
Some people say spiritual things, even quote scriptures and talk about the things of God, but THE MOTIVE OF their HEART IS SELF SERVING. They speak because they love the praise of men. This is a heart filled with SELF INTEREST! These words are not motivated by any BENEVOLENT LOVE. These are people so selfish, they care little about the arsenic, boric acid, self serving, self seeking words that come out of their mouths because they have no peace with God. Some love the praise of men, they seek the approval of men, they fear man much more than God, and they really couldn't care less about the death they let float out of their mouths regularly and how it's affecting others. They don't even judge most of the time if the words they speak are really for the benefit, the well being, the edifying, the building up of others. They only care about getting their needs met, and they don’t care if the meditation of their heart is right. (Just like Peter wasn’t caring when he spoke to Jesus.) They care about getting the approval they need from others, they only look for acceptance from man, they don't care to if THE WORDS OF THEIR MOUTH AND THE MEDITATION OF THEIR HEARTS ARE ACCEPTABLE IN GODS SIGHT. They wouldn't consider any obligation to be honest, sincere, and help others judge the spirit of their words, BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT ANYONE TO JUDGE THEIR SELF SEEKING WORDS.
I was also thinking about "suffering that woman Jezebel." Suffering meaning.......being indifferent to someone who is controlled by Satan in their thoughts, and words. Controlled because they love their life and they won't loose it for the greater cause. Controlled because of being weak minded because they love their life and their thoughts and don't take the time to make Gods thoughts their thoughts. They don't really care if their thoughts are coming from hell, their words are coming from hell, because they love themselves and only care about getting what they need from others, not in what they serve to others. Being a servant isn't part of their thoughts most of the time. Laboring in God's Kingdom, and loving the saving and keeping of souls, is not what makes these people tic. They serve God for their own pleasure and happiness. They haven't taken on Jesus' burden, which is easy and light......the loving and keeping of souls. They live under the lie THAT really doing GOD'S WILL IS TOO BIG OF A BURDEN. They feel sorry for themselves, and the thought of their heart is the way of the Lord is too hard. Most of their thoughts are MAKING EXCUSES for their flesh, and accusing others. So they throw their talent away. Getting their own needs met is the meditation of their heart. They don't have the love or faith, to speak the truth in love for we are members of one another. They don't care about really helping others grow up........only in getting their own needs met. They don't even consider that one day it will all be exposed and they will be REWARDED for how they have really been involved in the saving and keeping of souls. (You know the souls they think they will live with through eternity?) What came to me the other day is that most women get married to have their flesh gratified, and to be taken care of. And how many people come to Jesus for the same reason. I haven't met too many women that came to Jesus to be involved in His pleasure, who have passion for thinking His thoughts and speaking His words, and helping other to do the same! But isn’t this truly what a Proverbs 31 woman would do?
HOW MUCH DO WE CAUSE OTHER'S TO PASS THROUGH THE FIRES OF THE SPIRIT'S WE DON'T JUDGE IN OURSELVES?
The end of self indulgence, and sin IS DEATH. Self serving people filled with lust and addiction don't care about how they are affecting, loving others. One thing I have observed about many women is how they love their husbands gifts. They love the pleasures of the relationship, and what their husbands can give to them and provide for them, but they don't love their husbands souls. They don't think about being honest, sincere, praying, spending time in the word. They are content to have accusations, divisions, evil imaginations, and little foxes live in their relationships with their husbands. They don't even see how their failure to judge how they really love the men in their lives, is how they love Jesus, God, too! OH THEY LOVE THE GIFTS.......just not the Giver. If they loved the giver, they would love the givers children. But they don't, they lie, and are insincere, and insecure with the Givers children. They are too wrapped up in getting what they need from the givers children to love them. Honesty and sincerity are a threat to them, because then they would really have to examine their faith to get their needs met. They would rather be controlling. Love is a threat, and withholding their heart and thoughts is their power and control. They suffer the spirit of control in themselves, so they suffer it in others too! They are blind to the fact that they have blood on their hands. They don't care if someone around them is starting a Forrest fire with their mouth, because they are too busy getting their own needs met. They wouldn't think too long about putting the Forrest fires around them out, and they don't consider the fact that God will judge them as much as the one who is using their mouth to start the fire!
IF WE FAIL TO SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE, WE DEPRIVE THOSE AROUND US FROM BEING ABLE TO GROW UP! We are guilty of burring our talent, and perhaps denying the Holy Ghost. How will we become the bride of Christ, perfect, complete, without division, if we love our precious life so much, we don't care if someone around us is being robbed and by our indifference......WE CONSENT WITH THE THIEF! Having eyes to see, they see not, having ears to hear, they hear not, lest the glorious light of the gospel should come and heal them. Some people just don't want the glorious light of the gospel to heal them, they want to be sick and TAKEN CARE OF. They are comfortable with their “unholy” spirits.
The truth is, we all HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR THE GLORIOUS LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL NOT COMING AND HEALING us. The only reason for our lack of healing is because deep in our hearts we LOVE THE PRAISE OF MEN, MORE THAN GOD. We are content to live life without Jesus. Are your words self seeking? Do you listen to the self seeking words of others who love the praise of men? How much do you suffer the spirit of Jezebel, control, in your life. Some men's sins go before them, others follow after them. You'll never have peace if you lie to yourself about the content of your own words, and the content of the words of those around you. WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLEEP, ARISE FROM YOUR DEATH, AND God will give you light!
I knew a woman who feared everything other than Him who has power to cast into hell. She didn't fear the Lord, and she was tormented by fear due to life without Jesus.
She had the faith of the wicked and slothful servant that buried the talent due to fear. And she was not a Pvbs. 31 woman who was praised. Her insecurity due to her lack of fearing the Lord in her conscience made her a leech that sucked the life from others. She was “sick” yielding to the voice of the flesh, and rejected the voice of the Holy Spirit and yielding to the Spirit. When we don't have our own integrity before God, we will be jealous of those who do. We will have a desperate, taking, greedy, gluttonous, hellish spirit, that's never full, content, or satisfied. We will be like a molester, who is stealing life from others because we are lying to ourselves and we are not SEEKING THE PRAISE THAT COMES FROM GOD ALONE! Our lives will one day show if we have been busy seeking gifts..........OR LOVING AND SEEKING THE GIVER OF LIFE! She never turned from her ways, and she died at a young age.
Jesus came for the sick......if this describes you, repent, and cry out to God, so you won't be ashamed for the bank account you have accumulated of dead words, and dead works! We are creators....and we create life and death with our mouth, and one day it will all be tallied up! The day came upon this woman and shame was her lot in life. The proverb describes her. Her mouth was always an open graveyard full of dead bones. She despised instruction and correction, and would not listen. Her flesh and body were consumed due to rebellion. All she had was sorrow at the end of her wasted, self-seeking life. She will not be remembered for being a feeder, or a woman who feared the Lord. She was afraid and tormented and continually used to torment others. She made her own thoughts her idol, and refused God’s thoughts.
We watched a movie about the devil. A man had been seduced by him, and his pitiful, whiny words. The devil was locked up in prison, and he couldn't get out by himself. HE NEEDED SOMEONE TO LET HIM OUT. He had to have a body, and ambassador, to represent his cause. The man in the movie was so sorry when he realized what he had done. AND HE PROVED HOW SORRY HE WAS, by spending his life CAPTURING the devil he loosed. You can tell someone who is sorry for bringing honor, glory and praise to the father of lies, who was the devil's ambassador. They are God's ambassador's now......speaking His oracles instead of the devils, and they live to TAKE THEIR THOUGHTS CAPTIVE to the obedience of Christ. And they have the wisdom, to CAPTURE the thoughts those they love are being destroyed by! The way of the Lord is not hard for them. They know when they hear a voice that is not God's and they seek to deliver those around them from "the voice of the stranger".
They as Job, are eyes to the blind, feet to the lame, they cause they know not they search out. And all things are possible to these people who really believe that His burden is easy, His yoke is light. They have faith to OVERCOME, and they help others Overcome! These are the ones who FOLLOW PEACE WITH ALL MEN, AND HOLINESS, knowing if they don't they won't see the Lord. Are you washing your hands of your responsibility to be your brother's keeper because YOU HAVE NO FAITH? Shame will be your reward. Have faith to go on God’s fast, think his words, speak His thoughts, there are many rewards for those who do. Is. 58
Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Is. 58

RETAINING GOD IN OUR CONSCIENCE
To Be Without A Conscience
God made everyone with a conscience. Everyone's conscience has God's
standards of what is good and what is bad (Romans 2:14-15, "For when the
Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the
law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which show the
work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing
witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one
another;"). If this is so, how can anyone be without conscience? This can be
answered by Romans 1:28. People without conscience choose not to retain God
in their knowledge. In turn, God turns them over to a reprobate mind. A path
of sin, destruction, and eventually death.
You Can Say You Know God But Be Without Conscience
Many people profess to know God, but they are without conscience. Many
people may really believe they know God, but in their works they deny Him.
Many people may talk about their love of God and profess His word, but their
action show they are without conscience (Titus 1:15-16, "Unto the pure all
things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing
pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. [16] They profess that
they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and
disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.").
Separated From God Is To Be Without Conscience
God does not desire for us to be separated from him. It is our choice to not
be with Him. Many of us do not desire to retain God in our conscience
because it is not convenient to our fleshly desires (Romans 1:28). Rather
than being filled with God's knowledge, we would rather be filled with
unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, envy, deceit, and unmerciful.
Romans 1:29-31 goes on listing all the things we would rather do than retain
God in our conscience. This is being without conscience.
Scriptures Related To Without A Conscience
Romans 1:28-31, "And even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which
are not convenient; [29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication,
wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate,
deceit, malignity; whisperers, [30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful,
proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31]
Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful: [32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they
which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have
pleasure in them that do them."
Romans 2:14-15, "For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature
the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto
themselves: Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their
conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing
or else excusing one another;"
Titus 1:15-16, "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are
defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience
is defiled. [16] They profess that they know God; but in works they deny
him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate."
Many Ways To Define Conscience
A simple definition of conscience is conviction or being conscious of a
custom. From a Christian perspective a conscience is all about having God's
standard in our heart to guide us in how we conduct ourselves. Our
conscience has the highest standard we know. Ideally, this standard aligns
with God's standard. Our conscience is the eye of the soul that continuously
looks to God or what we regard as the highest standard in how we conduct for
our lives.
Does everyone have a conscience?
The short answer is yes, everyone has a conscience. This includes
Christians, Jews, and the unsaved - everyone. The question is what standard
is followed by a person's conscience. For a Christian his or her conscience
should continually to be raised to an higher conscience as he takes more and
more of God's Word into his heart. Jews have conscience has evident with
Jesus confrontation with the Jews and the fate of the woman caught in
adultery. Jesus told them to cast a stone at the woman if they were without
sin. All the Jews left because they were convicted by their conscience (John
8:8-9). Even the unsaved have a conscience to that even includes God's
standards (Romans 2:14). This makes sense in that we are all God's creatures
with a conscience that includes the standards of how God desires for us to
live.
Define Conscience As A Law Written In Your Heart
Conscience is a group of laws in your heart. Mankind has demonstrated that
they know God's principles. No matter if we know the Bible or not, we know
we should not murder, steal, or be jealous of other people. Our conscience
bears witness to the laws that are written in our heart. Our conscience
convicts us when we break these laws that are in our heart (Romans 2:14-15)
Define Conscience As Jesus, A Standard That You Seek
Jesus came on this earth as a standard to follow. He showed us how to love
God and to love our neighbor. He is a standard for everyone. By putting
Jesus' standard in our heart we will sin no more and have peace (Isaiah
11:10).
Scriptures In Regard To Define Conscience
Isaiah 11:10 says, "And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which
shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and
his rest shall be glorious."
John 8:7-9 says, " So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself,
and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a
stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they
which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by
one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone,
and the woman standing in the midst."
Romans 2:14-15 says, "For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by
nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law
unto themselves: Which show the work of the law written in their hearts,
their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while
accusing or else excusing one another;"
A Good Conscience Is Not An Offense To God.
Nothing is good unless it come from God (Luke 19:18, "And Jesus said unto
him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God."). From
God's perspective a conscience can only be good if it has God's standards.
In order for a conscience to be good it must not be an offence toward God or
toward men (Acts 24:16, "And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a
conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.").
A Good Conscience Comes From Love and Faith
Ideally, a person's conscience is based on faith and love. If you have faith
in God, then his commandment, the gospel of Jesus Christ, will be written in
your heart (1 Timothy 1:5, "Now the end of the commandment is charity out of
a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:"). The first
and second commandment of Jesus Christ is to love God, and to love your
neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:30-31, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with
all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like,
namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other
commandment greater than these."). From God's perspective this is the basis
of a good conscience.
A Good Conscience Must Be Lived
You can say someone is in good conscience if they live up to their
conscience's standards (Act 23:1, "And Paul, earnestly beholding the
council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before
God until this day."). Paul said he was in good conscience even when he
persecuted Christians. He said this because he followed his conscience
diligently. When his conscience was raised up by the revelation of Jesus
Christ, he continued in good conscience by following diligently the
standards of his new conscience. From God's perspective your conscience is
good when your conscience is led by His standard and you diligently live by
His standards.

Awakening Conscience Through Christ
One of the many things Jesus Christ did on this Earth was to awaken our
conscience. He showed proof to us by His resurrection that there is a God
and He has victory over death. Jesus demonstrated to us by His life on Earth
how to walk in the light with both love and righteousness. The purpose of
Jesus Christ's ministry is to awaken our conscience, have us rise from the
dead, and walk in the marvelous light (Ephesians 5:14, "Wherefore he saith,
Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give
thee light." ). His desire is for us to completely purge our conscience and
serve the living God (Hebrews 9:14, "How much more shall the blood of
Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?").
Conviction Awakens Conscience
For many of us our conscience is asleep. Thank God for Jesus Christ that
His actions help bring conviction and awaken our conscience. An example of
Jesus bringing conviction to our conscience is best demonstrated with the
stoning of the prostitute as told in the gospel of John. He told them to
cast the first stone if their life was without sin. This simple act
convicted the smallest and greatest sinner (John 8:7-9, "So when they
continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is
without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he
stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being
convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the
eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing
in the midst."). By Jesus speaking the truth, he brought self-conviction on
the hearers of His word, awakening their conscience to God's Truth.
Awakening Conscience By Obeying God
God is a God of righteousness and a God of Truth. His righteousness demands
that we be obedient to Him. His Truth awakens our conscience where we
willingly become obedient to Him (Romans 13:5, "Wherefore ye must needs be
subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake." ). If we
earnestly hear God's Truth, our mind and conscience are renewed continually
awakening conscience for us to walk in what is "...good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God" (Romans 12:2)
