The "Message" of the Spirit to us this week comes from Ezekiel 16, where our Lord speaks to his children about their "whordom"... their union with "Worldliness" and their rebellion against what they themselves know to be right in their relationships. The scripture focussed on was vs.43.."because they have not remembered the days of thy youth(that which was taught and demonstrated of the Lord)...but have fretted me in all those things(your rebellion)..so behold, therefore...
"I also will recompense thy way upon your own head."
How will you like having only thoughts of rebellion, fear, deceit, anger, lust, wontonness, and an insatiable need for acceptance which will never be met...for the rest of your life? With no more convictions of correction from the Spirit of Truth and Love?
This...is God almighty turning you over to your self and leaving you to your own "thoughts"..recompensing "your ways"..upon your head(your mind..Your way of thinking)
This happens everyday in the lives of "God's People"..who lightly esteem His Love and Truth for their own ways.
It doesn't happen over night but is a slow progressional working of "spiritual cause and effect." Just as if you took a-little poison in your food every meal. Over time...your dead.
